ABOUT US
Sugar House Craft & Create, having started as a scrapbooking hobby in 2003, this crafting lifestyle has become a way for me to bring people from all walks of life together. For the past 15 years I had a wonderful group whom I hosted regularly in my home and on retreats. We would use these gatherings to not only craft but to take time for ourselves away from the daily distractions of chores and jobs and to be a part of a creative community.
From this experience with this group and as recent transplants from Southern California, I wanted to create a more professional space for all kinds of creative people to utilize here in Utah. Sugar House Craft & Create is a place for anyone to allow their creativity to flow from open crafting sessions to workshops.
My husband and I reside in Sandy with our dog, Kelly. Bert, a recently retired electrician enjoys spending his time with our grandkids, cycling and outside on the grill. You'll see Bert at the space frequently helping other occupants of the Rockwood Studios with small tasks around their studios or helping me host. For the time, I am still working for a corporate company and hope to retire in the next couple of years. When I'm not at Sugar House Craft & Create you can find me with my grand babies, hiking or crafting in my personal space.
